SOLID WOOD KITCHENS

Kitchen of the array is, according to the results of our analysis of the Moscow market of kitchen sets, 80% of the food Classic, 10% - Country Kitchen, mostly Provence, and about 5% - modern kitchen, Scandinavian style, and the like. Do not think that we lost somewhere 5%, these 5% dropped out of the statistics are amorphous, completely gray, without any features of the headset, which cannot be attributed to any style at all. Unless there is a ugly scoop style, the peculiarity of which is a haphazard set of parts that do not seem to fit in any way, and leave the impression that the kitchen set is assembled “from what was”.

What are the main differences between the kitchen from the array? There are two of these differences - price and prestige. A solid wood kitchen unit is always expensive and always prestigious. Unless we are talking about furniture made of pine in garage conditions. Although the scatter in the price of kitchens from the array is huge. Similar models from different manufacturers may have a price difference of up to 300-500%! The reason for this price difference is quite mundane - the untwisted brand. Undoubtedly, there is always a difference in quality between different manufacturers, but not always on the side of a well-known brand. Very often, young and not yet untwisted brands, trying to take their place in the market, give higher quality at a much lower price. Until they got too big and earned a shaft of customers that is difficult to cope with,

What types of wood are currently used in the manufacture of kitchen furniture? The most popular and one of the most prestigious is the oak massif, at least “from the local”. The oak massif has a noble appearance with a unique, pronounced texture, which is easily emphasized during processing by coloring, staining and varnishing. An array of cherries, beech, walnut, ash, conifers and others are much less common. They lose to the oak massif either in price, or in appearance, or in density and strength, or because of their rarity and inaccessibility to production. But each of them has its fans, its advantages and unique features.

In general, a kitchen made of solid wood is such a topic that in one article you can only touch on a huge number of aspects. In a good way, apparently, you will have to make a whole series of articles that will separately deal with topics such as caring for a kitchen unit from an array, the price of a kitchen from an array, wood species, styles and much more ...

What do we have in the "bottom line"?

Massive kitchens are most often classic-style kitchens.
A solid kitchen set is expensive, prestigious and shows the owner’s prosperity and his predisposition to proven, classic solutions.
A solid wood kitchen, like other products, can be bought much cheaper or more expensive, but the price is not always directly proportional to the quality of the purchase. It is necessary to look, compare, analyze.

Wood On The Wall - A Prefabricated Holiday Home With Country House Charm

A tree house with a difference - this is how the project of the talented architects of D12 Design can be described. The prefabricated house scores not only with a beautiful location and stylish façade design with glass - also inside the villa turns out to be a quiet beauty. Its high, wood-paneled ceiling, the solid floor, the charming interior in modern country house style provide a feel-good atmosphere. Incidentally, the natural material is present everywhere in the interior - the wood on the wall, for example, creates a seamless transition between the living and sleeping areas and completes the home.

Wood on the wall - the prefab house of D12 scores with a stylish façade design

The architects of D12 Design were tasked with completing a holiday home for a couple. The property is located deep in a forest area in Vietnam - the beautiful nature with tall deciduous and coniferous trees inspired the architects to a modern building with an abundant glazed façade. At the same time, the sloping terrain posed a great challenge. All the more - the builders set the target of an environmentally friendly construction. The only possible solution in this case was the prefabricated house - made of several panels, which are then only assembled on site. The architects deliberately chose low weight materials per square meter and built the house on steel beams.
It consists of two volumes - both face the forest and have access to the natural stone terrace with concrete garden pond. There, the family can entertain friends or relax at the weekend under the cooling shade of tall trees. As far as the façade is concerned, the single-storey villa is above all practically designed. A pitched roof successfully dissipates the rainwater, the abundantly glazed south west and east side let plenty of sunlight and fresh air in the living and sleeping area. Blinds provide opaque cotton curtains. The exterior walls are cleaned and painted with water-repellent facade paint. In addition, the house is protected from the nearby trees from the strong sun and wind.
The absolute highlight in the outdoor area is certainly the safety net that successfully replaces the balcony. It is definitely a sustainable alternative, because in this construction, the trees that grow in front of the house have been preserved. Yet another key advantage is the low weight of the net. It is accessible from both the living room and the bedroom. Floor-to-ceiling sliding sliding doors connect seamlessly inside and out, allowing residents to truly enjoy the convenient location of the house in the midst of nature.

Wood on the wall, on the ceiling and on the floor - the natural material as a connecting element in the interior

The interior also impresses with a simple but very stylish aesthetic - the narrow and long living area is divided into three zones - a small reading corner in front of the window form red floor lamp, designer armchair with soft cotton upholstery and a wooden chest of drawers. Native houseplants create a cozy ambience. Right next to the sitting area is a handwoven stool, a glass coffee table and a three-seater sofa bed. The shaggy rug in trendy anthracite color visually separates this area from the reading corner. The architects have designed the house with the idea of the highest living comfort - and according to the needs of the young couple, the living area is equipped with a small block kitchen.
The kitchen landscape is made of light-colored wood and blends in harmoniously with the overall picture - wood acts as a connecting element and is present on the ceiling as well as on the walls and on the floor. The grain of the natural material simply does not let go of the eyes and gives the interior a charming country house character.
The bedroom is puristically furnished with a double bed, small desk and chair. The house can easily accommodate up to four people. So the couple can invite 2 more friends. So nothing stands in the way of pleasant evenings outdoors. It is the perfect weekend house in the middle of nature - comfortable and stylish at the same time, equipped with everything you need (air conditioning, fridge and on request - TV). The costs are also within reasonable limits, since the house is anyway prefabricated in a hall anyway. In this way, it is possible to stick to the budget set at the beginning.
The house in Vietnam is therefore definitive proof of the numerous advantages of prefabricated houses, especially in protected, hard to reach areas. In addition, the modern design offers other advantages - the manageable costs, the numerous design options, the low weight, the quick installation (it usually takes place during a weekend). But the architects at D12 Design even went a step further - they integrated a safety net into the project and did not have to cut down the trees around the house. A thought-out, environmentally friendly concept that promotes nature conservation.

Colors

Think well about what you want to convey. Keep in mind the style and decoration you have in your room.  Try not to clash with the walls or furniture to visually be more attractive. Today you can find many colors and shapes.

Nordic stuffing

The number of threads determines the calorific value. Always keep in mind the climate of your area and the humidity. Living in a beach area is not the same as living in a dry place surrounded by mountains.
We recommend looking for a weight greater than 200 grams if the weather is very cold, while for the warmer places you can choose those of 100 grams.
Types of Nordic filling:
There are different types of fillers; Choose the one that best suits you and your needs.
Goose down. It is extracted from the chest of the geese and ducks and it is said that it is the one that shelters and isolates the cold.
Feathers. This stuffing is characterized by feathers of geese and ducks, but with the difference that, with respect to the down, the feathers are whole, that is, they maintain the species of rod that joins them. On the other hand, goose down is finer.
Polyester or cotton If you are allergic to feathers, choose a synthetic padding, either polyester or cotton. They heat a little less but they are very practical and cheaper.
Wool. Opt for wool to keep the heat well. It is an option that lies between the quality of down and synthetic quilts.

Reversible covers

Nothing better than a cover that is beautiful by the two sides; You can change your position when the time changes. Find an option that is suitable for the summer months and for the winter months.
Curtains and upholstery
If you are redecorating your bedroom, also take into account the curtains, the color of your furniture and even the floor.
If you create a harmony in terms of the color palette, your bedroom will be much more attractive and inviting and will invite you to stay in it.

Own style

Let yourself be carried away by your tastes and choose the duvet covers that you like the most. It will be you who has to see them every day; Ask for an opinion if you need it, but follow your impulses to make the best purchase.
And remember, look for quality duvet covers, with soft fabrics that are pleasant to the touch. The quality is important so that they do not lose their colors with the washings and always give the feeling that they are new.
In addition, as we have already said, the duvet covers can be used both for clothing and for decorating the room. In fact, there are people who use Nordics only to cover the bed and leave it well dressed, but at bedtime they do not use them.
